This report is the third in a series of three in which the world's top 40 producers of nonwovens are profiled. The report provides updated information and data about the activities, investments, and marketing and product strategies of Dalian Ruiguang, Halyard Health, KNH Enterprises, Kuraray, Mogul, Saudi German Nonwovens, Shalag Nonwovens, Tenowo, Toyobo and Unitika. The report also provides data on the size of the nonwovens market and sales achieved by these ten smaller producers of nonwovens.

Many of these producers are benefiting, or are set to benefit, from various investments. Halyard Health has invested in its nonwovens operations since being spun off from Kimberly-Clark in 2014. Unitika has increased its capacity for producing spunbonded nonwovens at its facility in Thailand, and Mogul has started production at a new site in Turkey. It also started production at a US operation which was later sold. Tenowo has acquired Resintex, a specialist in nonwovens for clothing and medical applications, and announced that it would establish an operation in Mexico. Meanwhile, Shalag Nonwovens has acquired Texsus, a manufacturer of air-through bonded nonwovens and laminated products for the hygiene market, and KNH Enterprises has established a new site in Taiwan. Also, Dalian Ruiguang has added three new production lines in China, and Kuraray has announced plans to add a new meltblown line in Japan.
