The use of prefabricated materials also allows greater feedback from architects in terms of material selection. The use of prefabrication techniques allows construction companies to carry out proceedings at both onsite and offsite locations simultaneously. Moreover, it enhances capability to withstand adverse weather conditions which can adversely affect time schedules and results in better coordination among various units. In total, 62% and 52% of respective respondents expect prefabrication to impact ‘design and innovation’ and ‘workforce and resource use’. In addition, industry executives expect prefabrication to have the least impact on ‘energy requirement’.
