World Electric Shaver and Hair Care Equipment Market to Grow 2.6% annually from 2014 to 2018, Says the New Study on ASDReports

Global demand for electric shavers and hair care equipment is forecast to expand 2.6% p.a. between 2014 and 2018. Bolivia, China, Japan, Tanzania and the United States are considered the highest potential markets in the coming years.

According to recently published research now available on ASDReports, the expansion of the global electric shaver and hair care equipment industry is forecast to reach 2.6% p.a. in the coming years. Between 2007 and 2013 the market increased with an average annual growth of 6.7%. Currently, electric shavers account for 24.4% of the global demand while the remaining market share is divided between electric hair dryers (18.8%), other electro-thermic hairdressing equipment (24.7%), electric hair clippers (15.7%), electric hair-removing appliances (6.2%) and parts for electric shavers and hair care equipment (10.1%).

Brazil, China, Germany, Japan and the United States represent the largest electric shaver and hair care equipment markets while the strongest annual growth is forecast to occur in Tanzania (24.4%), Bolivia (14.1%), Jordan (12.0%), Israel (11.0%) and Sri Lanka (10.8%).
