Metal oxide nanopowder is coated onto a substrate and is integrated into the gas sensor module. The metal oxide nanopowder records the change in resistance when exposed to oxidizing or deoxidizing gases to perform gas sensor operations. MEM-based sensors result in a reduced bill of materials (BOM) for a given gas analyzer.
