According to the report, growth in the aerospace industry is expected to increase in the next few years owing to growing international trade and declining airfares. It is estimated that the number of commercial airplanes across the globe will grow by 3.62% on a yearly basis until 2030. This will lead to growth in the aerospace industry and, the demand for cPDM will also rise during the forecast period.
Further, the report states that Piracy issue of PLM software is a major challenge for vendors, leading to a decrease in their revenue.
