Aircraft simulators imitate the experience of flying a real aircraft. Over the years, aircraft simulators have continued to be recognized as vital element for flight training for individual general aviation pilots, jet fighter military pilots and airline flight crew. Flight simulation has brought about radical changes in flight training methods, reducing the training risk and improving training quality. Flight simulators are mainly of five types- System trainers, Flight Training Devices (FTD), Cockpit Procedure Trainers (CPT), full flight simulators (FFS) and Part Task Trainers (PTT).
