In the Red Sea, missiles were fired at the USS Mason, which was able to deploy timely defensive measures. As nations reflect these and other events, steps are being taken to enhance detection capabilities through better radar systems. This research provides an overview of the global shipborne radar market, defined as the different types of radar systems used on military naval surface vessels. Sonar or any radar systems used on subsurface vessel are not included. Spending forecasts are discussed by region: Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, and North America (excluding Mexico, which is grouped with Latin America.
