The report identifies important trends, and includes information on: production of textiles and clothing; textile and clothing imports by supplying country; and textile and clothing exports by destination country. It also discusses industry strategy in each of these countries and provides an outlook for the future.

The report presents a wealth of information and is essential for anyone who is considering sourcing from, selling to or investing in China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan and their export markets. In China, exports grew in 2014 but they were down during January-April 2015. Production, meanwhile grew in 2014 and during January-September 2015. In Hong Kong, exports were down in 2014 and during January-September 2015, and production was also down in 2014 and during the first half of 2015. In Japan, exports rose in 2014 to reach a six-year high in yen terms, although in US dollar terms exports declined. Furthermore, Japanese imports rose while production fell. In South Korea, exports fell in 2014 and during January-September 2015, and exports from Taiwan were down in 2014 and during January-August 2015.
